Privacy Policy

Maestro is a voice-first AI tutoring service operated by Kommepally Deva Sai Harsha(“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data. For any privacy request, contact dsh@trymaestro.in.

• Account data — your name and email address, provided through our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign in.
• Voice audio — recordings of your voice captured during curation interviews and learning sessions.
• Transcripts — text transcriptions of your speech and the conversation history with the AI tutor.
• Learning content — the syllabi, topics, and visualizations generated for you.
• Usage data — seconds of voice processing consumed, session counts, and similar metrics used for quotas and billing.

To provide tutoring, your voice audio and text are sent to third-party AI providers for processing (speech-to-text, language generation, and text-to-speech). These providers process your data on our behalf to return a response. By using Maestro you consent to this processing.

We rely on the following service providers to operate Maestro:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (Gemini) — language model responses.
• AssemblyAI, Cartesia, ElevenLabs — speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
• Dodo Payments — payment processing and subscription billing as merchant / seller of record. Your card details go directly to Dodo Payments; we never receive or store them.
• Vercel — application hosting.

Each sub-processor maintains its own privacy and security practices. We send only the data necessary for them to perform their function.

• To run voice tutoring sessions and generate your personalized syllabi.
• To maintain session memory and let you resume past sessions.
• To enforce usage quotas and process subscription billing.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your voice recordings or transcripts to train our own models.

We retain your account data, transcripts, and learning content for as long as your account is active. Voice audio is processed to produce transcripts and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your associated data within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal or billing obligations.

Depending on your location (GDPR in the EU/UK, India's DPDP Act, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Delete — request deletion of your account and data.
• Export — request your data in a portable format.
• Correct — request correction of inaccurate data.

To exercise any of these, email dsh@trymaestro.in. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Maestro is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact dsh@trymaestro.in and we will remove it. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use Maestro only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
